We capped off the weekend with a family night at the Akdar circus. It was our first experience and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but it wound up being such a great night! The kids were totally psyched to see lions (their absolute fav) and spend time with their cousins as always. They’re happy no matter what they’re doing together. 🙂 Josh and I were sweating it out through all the acrobatic acts, begging them to just stop. haha! I can’t handle anything with heights and for the life of me couldn’t understand where the spotters or nets were?! They’re crazy!! The kids spent most of the night with jaws to the floor in complete awe of the show. Angie was the hero of the night when she returned from a bathroom break with four light sabers and blue cotton candy! The kids played ninjas, superheroes, and dancers the rest of the evening with their treasured $2 toys.
My parents came along and always help out so much with the kids- holding baby, doing potty runs, and being an extra lap or hand to hold. They spoiled us with a couple funnel cakes and you the know the Smith’s had to grab some popcorn.
Em says her favorite parts were the tigers and Spider-man because “Jonah-man LOVES Spider-man”. 🙂 She got all flustered as soon as Spider-man hit the scene, yelling, “HE LOOKS JUST LIKE TUCKER’S JAMMIES!!!” haha!
It was a lot of stimulation for anybody so by the end of the night the kids were spent. I just love doing new experiences with them, watching their reaction to everything. It’s fun to think even baby brother was along for the adventure. 🙂
