Our Week in Snapshots (x2)

October has to be one of my FAVORITE months! As much as I love summer, all the festivities and beautiful weather in Oklahoma, make October just a treasure! We have dressed up SO many times… and loved each opportunity! Our neighborhood had a fall festival, our church had a Pirates and Princess Party, Lil’ KickersΒ had a dress up day, and finally… the day we had been waiting for- Halloween. πŸ™‚ Our sweet friend organized a trip to the nursing home to give away candy, cookies and hugs the afternoon of the 31st. This was such a special time to watch the kids GIVE and to see them serve in an element they were capable of. Such sweetness!

The rest of our time has been spent playing with friends and enjoying the fountains at Guthrie Green for the last time of the season. 😦 I am thankful beyond words for these sweet Mommas to do life with! We visitedΒ Pumpkin Town too- and navigated a corn maze. Josh’s sister sangΒ with The Tulsa Signature Symphony and Jodi threw the most amazing surprise shower for me (I was just overwhelmed with love from sweet friends!)

The biggest new for us, is the CLOSE of Josh’s Sno Shack for the 2015 season. YAHOO!!!!! We had a fun-filled, busy, amazing year. Every year we are amazed at God’s faithfulness to us!

A couple weeks ago I was spending most of my time preparing for Angie’s surprise baby shower. It was a great excuse to get the house super cleaned and organized, party crafts completed, and even flower beds redone. πŸ™‚ It was honestly a very rough week for me (Matt was out of town and Tucker was taking terrible two’s to a whole new level). I was happy to see the weekend:Β friends visiting from out of state, a celebration for baby Juarez, and Matt was home! We went to ORU’s 50th anniversary celebration concert with planet shakers and the kids loved rocking out and watching fireworks! We spent Sunday night on a triple date with two of my lifelong best girlfriends and their husbands.

Last week we did Bounce U with Jonah man and got all ready for Halloween weekend. Our gym had the kids dress up and go trick or treating around the building so we pulled together some last minute Clark Kent and Lois Lane outfits. πŸ™‚ Tucker’s flexing face cracks me up!! Grandma and Pops came in town for the weekend and we carved pumpkins and went trick or treating with cousin Georgia. I LOVE making their costumes each year and coming up with funny new ideas. This year they went as Prince William and Kate Middleton and I have so many hilarious pictures I’ll have to do a whole other post about my royal babes. Georgia was too cute as a toasted marshmallow and we just had so much fun collecting candy around their neighborhood. Sunday we enjoyed the beautiful day of sipping coffee and playing at the park.
