Watching these kids grow up together has been the greatest adventure of our lives. Walking this journey of motherhood with my sister has been such a blessing. Being a mom is filled with highs and lows and many, many decisions. Having someone you trust to go to with these things is invaluable. We confided in one another about everything from pregnancy pains to potty training and everything in between. When they were babies we’d talk about the day our kids would be able to actually play together and entertain one another. I’m not sure what age it came but it’s definitely here and everything we imagined it would be. Their little conversations are my favorite thing to listen to. They get excited for each other about nearly anything: a cool new pair of shoes, finishing their lunch, or running super fast. Norah’s usually the boss and comes up with all the fun games and rules. She monitors sharing and is gentle with Tucker. This face. 😛 Now that Tucker’s walking he’s starting to join in the fun too. He loves all the attention he gets from these kids and just wants to be with them.World’s most handsome nephew right here.. Emmy was sitting on this bench waiting and watching for her cousins to show up. She always asks if they’re coming wherever we go and wants to know what they’re up to. When Jonah-man rings our doorbell (15 times) Emmy nearly shakes with excitement screaming at the top her lungs, “Jonah’s HERE!! My cousins are here!!! I gotta get them!” As soon as our door flings open their off to discussing the latest news in their high-pitched little voices! 🙂I’m so thankful for these four little friends and all the adventures they’ve had together so far and all the ones to come.
