It’s Beginning to Feel Like Fall

Jimmy Kimmel’s pumpkin spice bit is so spot on and I’m not mad about it at all. The smell of pumpkin, the changing of the leaves, and the chill in the air are all welcomed with open arms. Although, saying goodbye to Summer is a little sad with all the fun we’ve had, living in our bathing suits. I think Summer has to be the best season for being a SAHM. All I know is Winter was the worst. It brought all kinds of sickness including cabin fever. It’s one redeeming quality is Christmas. I’m hanging onto a small shred of hope that my kids will suddenly love the snow and stay healthy all season. That’s possible right!? Anyway, Fall means wearing layers, making fires, exploring parks, taking walks, and indulging in all things pumpkin. I wanted to share my latest Fall find for the kiddos with you…Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetThe 60 degree weather kind of came out of nowhere but I was glad these adorable moccasins arrived in the mail just in time. I’ve been drooling over the Freshly Picked ones for years but simply couldn’t justify the price especially to my husband. I’ve rarely justified a $60 pair of shoes for myself, much less a toddler who’ll be too big for them within a few months anyway. Angie told me about these ones for sale on Jane.com just 15 minutes before they closed. So I snagged the two colors left at $15 a pair. Score! Their biggest size was 18-24 months and somehow my 2.5 year old fit in them. She’s got super small feet and a lot of determination to match her brother. 😉 Since then they keep offering them in a TON of amazing colors. You kind of have to just keep checking back to see if any new deals have opened up. I’m just wishing they had some 2T ones for Em because I’d be all over those metallic ones. I know Etsy has them but I’m not sure for how much and I have had the worst experiences with sellers that has left me too scarred to make any orders for now. :/ Picking out miniature outfits for these little people is one of my favorite things to do. I may be biased but I think they’re the cutest things in this world. 😉
