Our Week in Snapshots

This week was a busy one! We’ve had Grandma and Pops staying with us since last Friday. We did the children’s museum, the Guthrie fountains, and even welcomed our new niece into the world. The kids caught a little case of the sniffles late Tuesday night and they’re still fighting it off so they haven’t even met their new cousin yet.ย Matt’s parents watched the kids while we went away to Houston for a couple nights. It’s always such a good time to be away, just the two of us. Although, I am happy to be back home with the littles and getting back to our normal routine. After flying home early Sunday morning we turned Emmy’s little kitchen in the hall closet into a cozy reading nook with some Christmas lights and a white sheet. Our little book worm is in heaven in there. ๐Ÿ™‚ Tucker’s finally getting a break from teething and has been so happy and stealing our hearts like crazy. He learned to wave in the most adorable way this week. Emmy’s been reenacting children’s church for us every night, saying, “OKAY, Sprouts! It’s time to sing the B-I-B-L-E! Get ready!!” ๐Ÿ™‚ I truly love this mom life with all my heart.

It was a busy, fun-filled FRIENDย week for the Juarez clan! We had swim lessons with the River’s boys every morning and VBS with Cooper every night. In between, we met more friends for swimming at Lifetime, playing at the zoo and jumping in the Guthrie Green fountains. By Saturday, we were all wiped out and took a good long family nap in the big bed. Nothing compares to a fun week with friends- even my Mommy heart feels full!
