Our Week in Snapshots

On Monday morning, Jonah woke up feeling happy and fever-free. Norah wrapped her arm around him during breakfast and said, “Good Morning, Brother! I am so happy you’re feeling better!”20140520-174218-63738166.jpg

We spent the day relaxing and later ventured out to Lowe’s for some new plants and a cute rocking chair for the porch.

After naps, we went to Hibachi with the Juarez family to celebrate Mother’s Day. Norah loved it :). We finished the evening with ice cream and carousel rides at the mall. Jonah may have had a minor crisis when his cookie broke in half.

On Tuesday morning, Josh was on Great Day Green Country. We thought we were both going to be interviewed, but thankfully I was saved from awkward moments on camera!

We came home to find Grandma playing school with Norah-cuties!20140520-174552-63952626.jpg

On Wednesday, we celebrated Jodi’s birthday. Happy Birthday to the World’s Greatest Sister!

Thursday morning we were delighted to see Nana and Papa! Nana made the kids these cute bandanas/sashes. Norah LOVED it and Jonah did too- anything to match Daddy!

After some errands, I got to have lunch with these two!

Then, it was on to Dance Class for Norah. It was picture day and I couldn’t believe how grown up she looked with make-up. Love my sweet, Norah!

When we got home, Daddy was home! Hip hip hooray! He greeted the kids with bubble-wrap and they were enthralled.

On Friday, Jonah and I ran birthday party errands and my cute little man landed a sucker at the party store. ๐Ÿ™‚20140520-175209-64329271.jpg

That evening, Aunt “T”ย graduated from high school. We love her and are SO proud of the beautiful woman she is!

Saturday morning was PJs and Pastries- so fun celebrating Baby Smith!

After naps, we headed out to Inola, Oklahoma to a party for Aunt Tori’s graduating class and families. The sweet family had these amazing horses that ran free in the fields. They were absolutely breathtaking! So tender with the kids… a moment the kiddos will remember for a very long time!20140520-182355-66235315.jpg

The best day of the year was next- NORAH’s BIRTHDAY ๐Ÿ™‚ YAY!!20140520-182550-66350839.jpg

We woke up to birthday donuts with candles and a special Princess Dress. When I told Norah she could wear anything to church that she wanted (since it was her birthday ;)), she opted for the special dress. Of course!

Jonah found this magazine and was sure that it was Daddy!

After church, we celebrated Aunt Tori’s graduation with family friends. Norah got some special birthday presents from Gram and gleamed when she saw ANOTHER princess dress!

Tuesdayย started off with a little 24 hr bug for Emmy. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Lots of Frozen and lazing around for this girl..

Tucker got it just after Emmy.ย I did lots of rocking and cuddling which is kind of a treat for me but also just breaks my heart that they feel so yucky. We went out for a birthday celebration at the Ridge on Wednesday night with the family…

My boy was back to himself on Thursday morning, Praise God! We did a little 9 month photo shoot to practice with my new camera. ๐Ÿ™‚ I spent the rest of the day working on last minute shower projects and running errands with him while Emmy hung out with Gram.

Friday was my birthday and a fabulous day to remember! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thankful to friends and family for making me feel so special and loved.

Saturday morning was Chelsea’s PJ’s and Pastries party, which I just shared about. A great morning to celebrate our little niece on the way!

Sunday morning we did church with the fam. Emmy got their kids CD which is seriously awesome. I played it for my students when I taught there and realized we really need it for Emmy now. She gets down to my personal favorite track, “I obey right away!” ๐Ÿ˜‰ Yes, moms… you need this song in your life. haha!

After church we indulged in a glorious lunch out back. Matt is pretty amazing on the grill and I was just happy to use my pretty new birthday glasses from my mom. ๐Ÿ™‚ Em kept roping Uncle H.J.ย into going on a “hike” or running up the hill with her. She loves exploring!

During naps we stopped by Tori’s graduation party and hung with the family sans kiddos. There was a lot of unexpected matching going on for some reason.. ๐Ÿ™‚

Monday morning we said goodbye to Grandma and GG and took Tucker to the doctor for his 9 month check-up. He’s a healthy boy! woohoo!20140520-144658.jpg

We spent the evening celebrating our beautiful niece on her 4th birthday. A princess party of course! Post coming soon I’m sure! ๐Ÿ™‚
