Our Week in Snapshots

Emmy got into the chocolate almonds and Tucker dove into lots of avocados! I was cracking up when some got stuck up front and looked just like little green buck teeth. We are just starting the adventure with real food.

Emmy rediscovered her legos this week and they’ve provided lots of entertainment during the snow. She loves building towers while Tucker just licks the blocks. After a little too much time stuck at home, we escaped to Target. While I was admiring these adorable new poufs, Em promptly threw them all to the side and took a little nap in their place. πŸ™‚

These two have been such buds this week! Tucker’s been doing so well with sitting up now. He seems to be coming to life this week with personality plus!

We ate Whole Foods pizza for way more meals than I care to share throughout this week… Em just has so much fun pushing her own little cart, waving hello, and picking out cookies! She fits in so well with her little beanie! πŸ˜‰

Wednesday was Nay’s birthday!! We celebrated year 27 with a girls lunch at Ripe Tomato, our very favorite spot. YUM! I was sad when I started coming down with a cold and missed out on girls dinner and felt a little rough the rest of the week.

Thursday brought lots of sunshine and giggles! I started the day with a little project. We painted Em’s little kitchen and moved it up to her bedroom for something new. I rearranged her room and she made me some pretend cookies. πŸ™‚ Fair trade! Aaaaand then there was dinner at Whole Foods…

Friday I finally got my act together and made some dinner in the crockpot. I tried a pinterest recipe for garlic chicken and coincidentally forgot to buy garlic at the store. πŸ˜› I think I was a little distracted by this cute little girl running all over the store yelling, “CRACKERS!!! Where are you????” and “Hi, people! Hiiiii” I couldn’t resist her adorable plea for a giant pink sucker at the checkout counter. Plus, we were celebrating Friday! πŸ™‚

We spent gloomy Saturday morning introducing the babes to the bowling alley. I am thankful for a husband who goes along with my ideas (sometimes) when I just want to do something different or have adventures. Emmy LOVED it! She kept wanting to hold the heavy ball all by herself and had a hard time taking turns. πŸ™‚

Emmy was so excited when one of the sno shack girls, Madison, came over to babysit on Saturday night. It looks like they had lots of fun while we went to Kilkenny’s to celebrate Mine’s birthday with friends! It was such a fun night filled with lots of laughter, delicious food, and a new braided do! πŸ™‚

Sunday we woke up to MORE snow and freezing temperatures. After venturing out to church, we spent the day rocking our stuffed animals, cuddling and even doing homework by the fire. After naps, Norah and I had an intense game of Chutes and Ladders… she won, without any cheating too!

On Monday, we brought the snow inside to play with before exercising with Jillian Michaels (love the 30 day shred DVDs). That evening, we went to Mimi’s for dinner and Norah helped Mimi make whipped cream for some yummy brownies.

Tuesday evening, Cooper stopped by to play for a bit. Drop-in-visits on a cold night are awesome!

On Thursday, we played cars and colored A LOT! After naps, it was off to dance class and back home for dinner.

The new experiment of the week was this awesome Vinegar and Baking Soda craft. The kids LOVED it, but were very much in need of a bath after :).

Friday was a fun school and errand-running day. These goobers were so excited to go spend the night with Mimi!
