We had the greatest (hardest) workout this morning in Bootcamp and it reminded me that I had yet to profess my love for my MWF workouts on our blog! So, here is my short and sweet experiance with Bootcamp through Life Time Fitness.
It is amazing!
It leaves me sore, but energized every time. I feel strong! I can FINALLY do a real pushup and my running endurance is better than ever. Six miles used to be a milestone in distance training to me, now it feels almost easy… I would run more, but that is about as much time as the kiddos give me in the stroller. 🙂
On top of burning calories and earning lean muscle, I get to workout with some really wonderful women. They are dedicated, athletic, and really, really tenacious! The first time I tried Bootcamp, I came home telling Josh how in awe I was of the endurance these ladies possess. They make me want to keep going, keep pushing!
Our trainer, Jason Love, is also super great! He is very knowledgeable about eating clean and balancing the appropriate exercises to achieve our goals. He always has a new, seemingly impossible workout for us. We do everything from Burpees and Mountain Climbers, to Ropes and Kettle-bells…. and an ungodly number of lunges. Nonetheless, squat and presses are STILL my least favorite thing! Will by shoulders ever be strong enough?
I would recommend a bootcamp class to any mom or friend! It is fun, fast paced, and if you do it with a great group, it feels like a social hour with lots of sweat. 🙂 Thank you to all the wonderful ladies (and Jason) from Bootcamp for making every MWF an adventure!
